Digital product passport for electric batteries: ESG compliance and lifecycle tracking

The project

A major Italian industrial group in the automotive sector partnered with KNOBS to develop a digital product passport for electric batteries, ensuring full lifecycle traceability in line with European ESG regulations.

KNOBS designed and developed a platform capable of tracking battery modules and packs across the supply chain. The system collects data on production, materials, logistics, maintenance and end-of-life, offering controlled access to certified information for different stakeholders (production, logistics, auditors, consumers).
