Digital Product Passport for the enhancement of commercial vehicles

The project

A major European industrial group in the commercial vehicle sector commissioned KNOBS to develop a solution to certify and enhance the technical and operational data of vehicles throughout their entire lifecycle. The goal was twofold: to strengthen data transparency and preserve the residual value of vehicles on the secondary market.

KNOBS created a digital product passport for commercial vehicles, fully integrated with the company’s data lake, designed to collect and aggregate data from multiple systems. Built in compliance with the group’s cybersecurity standards, the digital passport also includes a Business Intelligence dashboard that provides clear and immediate insights into the vehicle’s condition and history.

The use of a digital product passport for commercial vehicles ensures verifiable, secure, and transparent data across the entire supply chain.
